Real contribution ... from a
generous virtual world!
Since 2008 the 'IKSDP-Harambee Project non-profit Association' is in Second Life to fundraises for the IKSDP-Harambee Project Gwassi Kenya.
In Second Life at 'Bunny Isles for Kenya Project' there is our shopping center where in the
Harambee-Gwassi Kenya Charity Shop and in VitaVita Textures Full Perm Store we sell items created by members of the staff. The work of all
(the proceeds from sales, from Hunts and donations during the artistic
and musical events), helps to fund our education project in the Gwassi
region of Kenya. Up to now, we have raised € 12,200 and we are really
surprised and grateful for your answers.
The activities are coordinated by Loredana Loring and Lotrec Oh, with a Harambee Staff, the Partners of project and many Italian & foreign friends, who follow us for several years.

IKSDP-Harambee Project Gwassi Kenya is a non-profit association that
aims at the self-development of the Nyandiwa community on the shores of
Lake Victoria (Kenya). Here, the short movies to offer an idea of what is being achieved: IKSDP College, IKSDP Centre for social aggregation, IKSDP sunflowers oil, IKSDP Telemedicine Project, Welcome to Nyandiwa!
Harambee
in Swahili language means 'working together': it's the cry used by
fishermen when you pull the nets to shore and the spirit of the project.
Since
1983, volunteers and local people work together, successfully sharing
educational and social interventions, various cultural and economic
activities, then managed independently by the local team.
